King Valley Golf Club, King City, Ontario
King Valley Golf Club is the course that launched Carrick’s career in golf course design and helped to establish his reputation as one of the leading Golf Course Architects in Canada. When it opened in 1990, King Valley was immediately recognised by Golf Digest as the 2nd Best New Course in Canada.
The classic parkland design weaves through a mature landscape of rolling hills, pine and deciduous forests and diverse wetlands. The small sloping greens are protected by deep, artfully sculpted bunkers and calls for a variety of creative shot making. King Valley quickly earned a reputation as one of the premier private Clubs in the GTA and remains among the elite in Canada, serving as ClubLink Corporation Headquarters and as their “Flagship” Course.
King Valley Golf Club was ranked the 2nd Best New Golf Course in Canada by Golf Digest in 1991.
